I bought this remote control to use with my D7000 on a recent trip to Walt Disney World to try my hand at fireworks photography. The remote control worked flawlessly, allowing me to take long exposures without touching the camera. The controls are incredibly simple and easy to understand. In fact, I figured out almost everything without even looking at the manual, within minutes of putting the batteries in the remote (two AAA batteries for those wondering). The only reason I had to look at the manual was to figure out how to turn it off. SPOILER: You can't, at least not without removing the batteries. During my trip, I inserted and removed batteries between uses. This was annoying but doesn't stop me from using it when I need a timer/intervalometer (using a tripod already slows things down). If you could turn the remote on and off without removing the batteries I would easily give it 5 stars otherwise it's a great product.
