Did not stop dog from licking wound

My pup had surgery to neuter him. He had a few complications so he had 2 wounds, one was a bit bigger than a usual neuter wound. We bought this to protect his incision while it healed. It is nice fabric, soft, and not super hard to put on. Pup was between sizes so I ordered up, but it was still a little small for him. The second day, I found him licking by pushing the fabric around his hind legs aside. This product did not serve its intended purpose for us.

Pros

The recovery suit provides full coverage, protecting your pet's surgical sites and preventing them from licking or biting at their wounds

Cons

May not be a good investment, considering the cost of the product
