I bought this phone mount because I like to have my phone in view and wake it up while driving. Because of this, I don't like using the default phone charging area. Unfortunately, there weren't many phone mount options in this car, so I decided to try this phone mount. It definitely has its pros and cons. ProsDash Mount The Gravity Mount has a decent build. You just throw the phone in your hands and the weight of the phone closes around it. Subtle padding to prevent scratches on the dashboard. There's plenty of flexibility to tilt the mount for a better view or angle. Cons: Thicker cases won't work. good with gravity mount. I have a decent case and it's too thick for the gravity mount to work properly. This mount is best for thinner cases. The mount can be rotated sideways, but the gravity mount will not work if your phone is on its side. I'm still playing with the mount to get used to it. The phone is far enough away, which isn't as convenient as I'm used to. This is only a preview. I will update it when I use it more. I give three stars because it could be better. I'm used to using magnetic mounts and love the convenience of being able to turn them on and off. This mount takes some getting used to.
