I usually wear size 8, the size is bigger, still small. I had to do a lot of jumping to get it on my hips and I had to lift it just below my ribs to get the button and zipper. I think it will loosen up as I wear it, but it's very comfortable. Also, the zipper feels flimsy like it might break at some point. Otherwise it's cute and the length is fine as long as you don't mind that it doesn't reach to the ankles or below. I'm 5'4" and the A-line hem falls about 5" above my ankle.
