Pros: 1) Good/excellent radio reception. I live in the countryside. 2) Channel scanning worked fine. (The included instructions correctly explain how to scan. It's not obvious - you need to read the instructions. But oddly, the seller sent me a follow-up email with abbreviated instructions and asking if I had any problems. per the instructions Email is COMPLETELY WRONG!) 3) Fits perfectly in front pocket. Small, thin. 4) The power button is a slide switch on the edge of the device (Good) 5) The volume button is rounded with an analog rotary knob (Good) Bad: 1) The buttons on the front of the device are too easy to press accidentally when I in my pocket (VERY BAD). It is not possible to prevent the keys from being pressed as they are not protected by a cover or raised edges around the keys. So if you walk with the device in your pocket, the station will change (or switch to a different mode) due to compression by the movement of the foot when one or more buttons are pressed. This design flaw could easily be remedied by installing a clear plastic sliding cover for the button area. 2) When using headphones, the volume (compared to the built-in speaker) drops sharply. With the speaker volume set to a normal listening level (no headphones), the headphone volume is too low to hear EVERYTHING when headphones are plugged in! Actually I thought the headphone jack was broken and tried 3 different headphones. I was ready to give the radio back, but then it dawned on me and I cranked the volume all the way up. It worked! Remember to turn down the volume before unplugging the headphones, otherwise you will suddenly hear a very loud radio. 3) Headphone jack (and other jack) are unmarked. So you need to figure out what you're using and remember for future use.
