2 of my desktop fans burned out

Plugged in, flashed esp32 and then smelled burnt. Are the fans dead now? Be careful. I feel like it's half my fault, half theirs. They provide a semi-finished library hosted on Github that probably needs tweaking to prevent this from happening.
