If you use a lot of citric acid, this is a great way to buy. I got it mainly to pre-treat fruits and vegetables that I dehydrate. from 1/4 tsp up to 1 tsp will do the job depending on how dehydrated I am so this bag will make a world of difference. I use my dehydrator a lot, so buying this pack is a lot more convenient than buying those little containers at the grocery store, some of which have extra ingredients I don't need. There are dozens of other uses for citric acid; just try a google search. I put vinegar in my dishwasher to solve problems with my very hard tap water, but citric acid should work too. And it should be a good cleaner. Apparently it's also used in "bath bombs" but I'm a shower person so I won't try that. This product appears to be fairly clean, food safe, and non-GMO. The packaging is strong and resealable, eliminating the need to transfer the contents to another container. There was a small part unsealed in my package so some of the product leaked on delivery but I think that was probably an unusual case.
