On/off switch froze after only 4 months of use

The heater worked perfectly for 4 months and then the on/off switch froze. I suspect it got hot and melted in the cheap switch. I'll try another switch, but I wasn't planning on taking the damn thing apart 4 months later (right out of warranty).
