One of my cats licks too much which causes the fur on the back of her paws to break and thin. Although he doesn't have fleas at certain times of the year, his skin is just itchy. The cure for itchy skin is to increase oil levels, and omega-3 fatty acids work best. Goodpete's suggestion is convenient because I can either stick it down his throat or put a needle in a gelatin capsule and spray the oil on his food. He reduced his licking for a few days. I will keep this as a daily supplement. That's great.
