We've used most of the items in this set a few times. They do what they have to do (the Muddler is especially welcome - it works great with cucumbers, for example). Built-in filters in shakers are effective for most things, like ice cream or cucumber slices, but if you want something thin, you'll need an additional tool. All items in this set are very easy to care for. The only complaint is that the measure does not show its power. I had to measure with a measuring cup. Spoilers: the large side is one ounce, the smaller side is half an ounce.
