I've heard that a good tip for "hardcore gamers" is to lower your mouse sensitivity and buy a larger mouse pad to accommodate wider hand movements, which can improve your accuracy in games. . Then I came across this mouse pad, which was almost the size of my desk at the time. It's thick, soft, with a rubberized base, and overall it's a joy to work with on my desk. Especially after moving to a bigger table, it really seems to be an important part of the PC gaming system. I don't even have to worry about where my mouse is, there's always a mat underneath! Full Disclosure; I'm not in the "PC master race" and use my PC more for office work and casual gaming, but with this information before ordering, I would still buy it again. Well, one downside I found is that I ordered one that is black except for the red frame. This black top shows hair and dust very well and distracts me. I once accidentally spilled a bottle of Aussie spicy ginger ale on the table and I still can't get that oblong white stain off. Also, white lines will remain if you run your fingers or any other rough surface over the pillow. All in all I still love this mouse pad.
