As it is battery operated and suitable for outdoor use I bought a pair, it takes 3 AA batteries. At first it seemed bright, but the next day the light flickered. It has a timer, but it's inefficient - it doesn't work. The other also requires 3 AA batteries. So far I have only used 6 batteries. If it took 2 weeks I wouldn't feel so bad, but 2 days? The wires are so flimsy that it's difficult to unwrap them, but hey - that's a nice light. It's light, good, and heavy for vacuuming.
