I've wanted a surround sound system for many, many years. But living in rented apartments and moving frequently doesn't encourage spending big bucks on entertainment systems other than the basics, TVs and Blu-ray players. So I started looking for soundbars and came across this VISIO soundbar on Prime Day 2019. Refurbished VISIO 2.1 Soundbar for less than $70?!? Dean! In the shopping cart. When I came home the other day, he was waiting on the porch. I unpack, read the instructions, clean the TV. And don't you know it! My old Awia 40" flat screen TV has NO audio outputs! (Scream of Darth Vader) It's just not in the budget to buy a new TV. So I'm looking at my roommate's TV that we use in the living room. Newer LG and has optical Connectivity! But it's only 32". So I talk to my roommate and change the TV. Took 5 minutes to hook up, including learning the TV remote to control the volume and power. The first movie with a sound system was Rogue One and the VISIO soundbar filled the room with sound so it sounded like I was back in the cinema watching a movie! And while I had a theatrical experience, my roommate in the next room didn't mind. All in all it's a great soundbar Recommend this soundbar especially for those who are buying it for the first time as its price is higher than theirs.
