Ugh I hate them. I recently had sclerotherapy and will need to wear high compression socks/tights for a while. I have a pair I bought at the doctor's for $60 and I like them sooo much better than these. I was hoping to save some money but I can barely handle them even as backups. I'm 5'5 and 145 lbs. In the doctor's office I was told that I would be medium in most companies. I bought a big one in it. However, they hit my hips SO HARD and twisted/rolled. If I put them on lower on my legs, they just fall off (and don't pinch me where I need it). I don't have particularly big thighs - I only wear size 6 pants. The compression in the rest of the leg isn't as firm as the Dr. Mediums, but it's much, much firmer in the thigh. I tried wearing them at night because I had to wear them for several days and the small silicone dots on top were terribly itchy, resulting in a rash that lasted for several days. Material. I can't imagine them walking in it. Disappointed that I spent money on them. I wish I would have gone with something else.
