I prefer the scalloped pair.

The serrated sharpening scissors work great along the blades and the fabric I've used this pair on doesn't fray. I would actually give this pair a 5 but as they come in a set of two types I think a 5 would be misleading because zig zag shears are only effective along part of their blades and they are also very difficult to cut are. although maybe that's because I'm 70 and have small hands. Nevertheless, I consider the purchase to be a worthwhile purchase due to the exceptional quality of the serrated edge scissors. They arrived on the date stated and in good condition.

Pros

Ideal for cutting zigzag lines along the edge of fabric to prevent fraying and tangling while keeping fabric edges sharp and clean.
