Great purchase 4 artisans!

Love it! They are very sharp and powerful compared to the regular ones we used in elementary school. You can handle even the thickest paper! Easy! And they seem to be so durable that I feel like I'll keep them for the rest of my life (and I'm only 20 lol). And for the price, what a bargain. Great buy for my DIY loving friends!

Pretty, inexpensive but not sharp or heavy for sewing and thicker fabrics

They are very pretty, appear durable and the shapes look good on paper and fine fabrics like silk. However, they are not as sharp and heavy as I had hoped, so are not suitable for sewing and fabrics like cotton or heavier. I'm assuming they won't work for heavy paper products like cardboard either. So for sewing, which was my main goal, I wouldn't buy it again. They're ok if you've used them for light and delicate papercraft and scrapbooking.

I prefer the scalloped pair.

The serrated sharpening scissors work great along the blades and the fabric I've used this pair on doesn't fray. I would actually give this pair a 5 but as they come in a set of two types I think a 5 would be misleading because zig zag shears are only effective along part of their blades and they are also very difficult to cut are. although maybe that's because I'm 70 and have small hands. Finally a decent décolleté scissor that works properly!

I have tried several cleavage shears over the years and these offer by far the best value for money. Most scissors I've used in the past were either flimsy and didn't cut through the sheet of paper, or the cut edges didn't close properly, causing the fabric to break before it could actually cut. Only one works well

Zigzag scissors (purple) I wanted to use for fabric but can't because they don't cut well. I'm not sure if it's because it wasn't sharpened properly at the factory or if it's been used before - in which case it's just crappy business practice as I paid for a new one - but it doesn't matter . when i try to cut some fabric it gets stuck and when i finally open it again the piece of shit rips the fabric completely open.
