Review on 🎒 Topeak MTX Trunk Bag EX: Sleek and Spacious Black One Size Solution by Mike Barnett

I like the QuickTrack system. It's much better and more secure than the velcro straps that held my old RhodeGearUSA bag in place and the MTX bag looks beautiful. But. Storage in zippered mesh side pockets is pretty much useless unless you want to store pens in it. I don't usually take pens with me when I ride my bike, but maybe you do. I love that there's a bottle holder on the back of the bag. This is always a nice and useful feature. There is also a loop on the back for attaching a red flashlight. Another useful security feature. When driving in the dark, there are never too many lights. But those side pockets are a mystery. combined with a water bottle pocket on the back means that even if the side pockets are useless, at least the main compartment has enough room for my tools, tubes and snacks. Considering the side pockets are purely for aesthetics, I think $65 for a bag was a bit steep. $45 would be a better price but I think I can make it work.
