My main complaint is not about the quality of the product but that the description of the product does not match what it does. 1) It does not offer magnification from 50x to 1000x. The dial shows 50x <> 1000x. Yes. But that dial doesn't control magnification. This is the focus wheel. Magnification is controlled by the distance between the lens and the object being viewed. The closer, the greater the magnification. So what's the max magnification for this thing? I do not know if I should laugh or cry. I'm not a scientist. But I remember my biology labs at school. This thing gives about 5x magnification. 2) It doesn't give you 1080p images or videos. It's just a lie This thing runs on a 2 megapixel camera like those used in those old style flip phone flip phones. Have we received HD quality images with these phones? LOL I was such a fool to believe the descriptions of this thing! With all this, there are positive reviews about this product. Why? Because of the apps. Customers who gave good feedback about this product use it as a digital magnifying glass. Good for you! But for those looking for a budget microscope hoping to see cell structures etc. Don't waste your money on this. That's NOT what these things are made for, despite the lies on the packaging.
