Better Than Expected

When looking for a digital microscope for working with very small SMD electronics, I mostly read reviews and compared the actual screen resolution of offers that bothered to list such important details . I appreciate the seller's honesty in explaining that this sight has a lower resolution when used as a USB camera on a PC and yet the image is much sharper and easier to see than I expected. Works great and easy to use. Disable your VPN for the product to work with the app

I would like to preface this by saying that you must disable your VPN if you wish to use this product. I spent more than I wanted to wonder why this microscope just won't connect to the app I downloaded. Then, as a last resort, I decided to disable my VPN. Success! It can be so helpful!

This digital wireless microscope has a USB port and a Wi-Fi adapter so I can use it on my computer or smartphone. Such a wide range of supported devices makes it versatile and suitable for use in the field when I'm away from my computer. This model also has good magnification, theoretically from 50x to 1000x. In practice, special software is required to work. I'm using Windows 10 and I was able to download the software (camera.zip) from the site mentioned in the manual. The software is portable

NO microscope. This is a low resolution digital magnifier.

My main complaint is not about the quality of the product but that the description of the product does not match what it does. 1) It does not offer magnification from 50x to 1000x. The dial shows 50x <> 1000x. Yes. But that dial doesn't control magnification. This is the focus wheel. Magnification is controlled by the distance between the lens and the object being viewed. Exceeded my expectations, easy to use and great pictures. highly recommended!

This is a great product - better than expected. Wi-Fi is easy to use and easy to connect with its own app. I have not used this when connected to a PC. The scope itself is easy to use and as you learn to operate with one hand while maneuvering the subject with the other hand, shooting is a breeze. You can capture images using the app or the power button on the oscilloscope itself. This takes some practice as the image can shake a bit when you press the button.
