I'm a total fan of candles and always have one lit when I'm home. I've been using these BIC long nozzle disposable propane lighters for years (most commonly used for lighting grills), but when my last one ran out I decided it was time to find something that didn't end up in a landfill would. I was skeptical of how well this thing would work, but it's actually pretty amazing. It's rechargeable, so presumably it will last indefinitely. The "flame" is like an arc of light that quickly ignites the wick of a candle. Actually faster than normal flames. While I don't like having another rechargeable electronic device at home, it's still preferable to a disposable plastic lighter.
