I bought Prothane rear spring bushings for my 1959 Corvette. Eight are for the rear of the spring (which uses calipers) and four are for the front, which is suspended from the suspension. Eight rear hubs ran smoothly, and the front hubs were too wide to fit the suspension. I called Prothane and checked the part number. I asked if I could shorten the hub on the lathe and he wouldn't agree. He didn't help at all. I called locals and only found front hubs that were in perfect condition. Incidentally, they were much narrower than the Prothane sockets. Prothane made a mistake with this app and wasn't interested in helping.
