I bought a Corsair TBT100 to replace my Elgato Thunderbolt docking station. The dock itself is good and has the connectivity I need. Unfortunately, the dock currently suffers from two issues noted in other reviews. 1) On average, it randomly turns off 2-3 times a day. This will disconnect all my connections to external devices and networks. I am using a VPN from my computer and it is forcibly disabled. 2) If I undock my laptop from the dock and the ethernet cable is still connected to the dock, the dock will shut down my entire home network. Meanwhile, if I remove the Ethernet cable from the dock, my home network works again. This happens every time I pick up my laptop. I'm hoping Corsair is working on fixing these issues and that they have a way to update the firmware on this dock, but until then I don't recommend it to anyone.
