Arrived with a broken connector - thought "ah that was cheap" and glued it back on. Decorating further because I bought it for a protest umbrella. (This is Oregon specific.) Then something broke on the top and now it won't close. Can't get it back exactly when it's stuck wide open. I really don't want to return it after spending several hours decorating it. No, none of the spokes are bent (checked and checked again), the plastic bushing is broken. I tried to tighten it and the fabric came off the top. Removed the bent nail securing the canopy to the top of the shaft and replaced it with a screw (squeezed tight, pinched his hand and made a hole in the fabric with a bent nail). It still won't close. Have only been using it for about 2 weeks. Pretty disappointing.
