It's been roughly 5 years since I first started using these mouse. Three pieces were mine. Everything else on the initial X-710FS is functional, however the wheel started to break after around six months. The wheels failed again on my second X-750. One year later, A4Tech X-710MK was behind the wheel as well. Therefore, I opted to purchase 718, which ended up being the worst of the A4 mouse I tried. Brought it home, replaced the 710, and it worked fine on a standard tabletop, but the wheel had some issues. Because I only spent $90, the replacement one is flimsy and the pointer jerks. The hole seems to have shrunk by a factor of three since the laser system was last updated. Tomorrow, I plan to return it to the store and see if I can get an F5 laser instead. I was under the impression that a high-tech optical mouse wouldn't give way to a laser option.
