Good quality thick linen
I am very satisfied with these bags. Being linen they had a linen smell and I hand washed them in cold water as per the label they came with. Linen is thick but smooth. The bonds are strong. These bags are not intended for long-term storage. These bags are designed to reduce the need for plastic bags (e.g. resealable grocery bags) to carry groceries home. Growing up in Europe, I was sent to the baker every morning with this "broczak” (bread bag) to buy fresh bread rolls for breakfast. Leftover bread can be stored in a plastic bag in the freezer. The same day I received the package, I also received an email from the seller with tips on how to store my bread. I look forward to taking these bags to my favorite bakery. !
