Beautiful bags combined with great customer service!

Advantages: - Very nice bag! - Large size, fits two loaves of bread - Convenient way to carry bread - Excellent customer service from a family business Cons: - The drawstring on one of the two bags broke when I quickly tugged the cord to close the bag BUT the owner did fixed it quickly by replacing the broken bag and sent me TWO bags for free! This is great customer service and I will be buying more bags. We'll just have to be more careful with bags next time.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons

Good fabric, does the job well

I live in Colorado and bread usually dries out before it gets moldy (although if you wrap it tightly without ventilation, mold will grow faster than you can imagine). I think the wide weave will help prevent mold, but for now my homemade bread gets a day or two longer. Normally, my homemade bread dries out in three days. The pocket appears to retain at least some moisture while still allowing some airflow. If that changes I'll post an update but I still love the bags!

  • Quick change

Seems like a good idea

I was looking for the best way to store homemade bread without plastic wrap or bags. It seems like the choice is between stale bread or moldy bread and cloth bags looked like an alternative. Two loaves of bread side by side, both dried at the same speed, the second test showed the same result. The only way to keep bread fresh for more than 24 hours was to put it in a partially closed zippered bag and cover it with a cloth bag. Did the cloth bag have any purpose other than to hide the bread? Not

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Why did I buy a piece of cloth for $16?

This bag is a waste of money. It feels like I just bought a piece of fabric for $16. Oh wait I did. Why? I'm poor, I have to pay rent, don't buy bags with bread pictures on them. Can you bake bread in this bag? no Does bread keep fresh? how could it be It has holes in it. Man, I feel stupid for buying that thing. To be honest, for $16 I could buy food, a homeless guy at the lunch counter, my dog food. I could fill the car with 4 gallons of gas. I could do so much with $16 but I can't now. Man I

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Good quality thick linen

I am very satisfied with these bags. Being linen they had a linen smell and I hand washed them in cold water as per the label they came with. Linen is thick but smooth. The bonds are strong. These bags are not intended for long-term storage. These bags are designed to reduce the need for plastic bags (e.g. resealable grocery bags) to carry groceries home. Growing up in Europe, I was sent to the baker every morning with this "broczak” (bread bag) to buy fresh bread rolls for breakfast. Leftover…
