At first I was a bit worried about how this would affect the picture/video quality on my ZV-1, but after several weeks of testing I honestly didn't notice any difference. It's a bit heavier, but given the flexibility it offers for both wide-angle and macro shooting, I can't complain. Installation is simple: you place the supplied adapter ring (it has very strong adhesive on one side) on the ZV-1 and screw the lens on. An added bonus is that if you don't have a lens installed, the adapter ring allows you to attach 52mm lens filters or even a lens cap should you need extra protection. Definitely recommend it.
