Paper towels are now almost as hard to come by as toilet paper, so I bought them in addition to cloth kitchen towels. I'm lazy and don't do as much laundry as I should, so I usually have a pile of dirty kitchen towels and no clean ones, which is why we resort to paper towels too often. And I'm not a hippie earth nut or anything, but using less paper is always a good thing. I have no complaints about these towels. As I said, I'm not trying to embroider or transform them, I'm just wiping the dishes and my hands. I find the absorbency ok and have only run them through the washer and dryer once (again too lazy) but so far they are holding up very well. Would I buy again, no questions asked.
