I have experience with docking stations with Dell and Surface Pro 3 so I had high hopes for this. Use with a Dell Inspiron 7000 Series 2-in-1 and an HP 24" Full HD Monitor. Installed the latest drivers from Plugable, then hooked up the monitor, ethernet, 1 external hard drive and a 7 port high speed USB 3.0 hub. Computer the way I want it, like having a monitor plugged into the laptop's HDMI port. Don't know if it's a docking station or software limitation both don't work when I restart both It's annoying that I have other plug-in products that have been top notch but this one was disappointing. I might have ordered the UD-3900 but I really wish I could have 4k video for a future 4k monitor Will update if I see improvements So for now a really expensive USB 3.0 hub :(Update 6/10/2016: Bob from Plugable replied by recommending pl e change USB Selective Suspend for Windows 10. A good technical explanation can be found here -[.]. It's a USB/HDMI/Windows 10 limitation so I can't blame Plugable The rest works great! I'm adding 1 star for a product that works as advertised and another star for the great support! It nice to see some companies supporting their products :)
