First I use Lenovo Yoga 720 - very fancy; I wouldn't buy again because not everything works with it! Plugable is a good docking company but the specs were unclear so I searched 3 docks to find one that worked - the most expensive of course! I have experience with docking stations with Dell and Surface Pro 3 so I had high hopes for this. Use with a Dell Inspiron 7000 Series 2-in-1 and an HP 24" Full HD Monitor. Installed the latest drivers from Plugable, then hooked up the monitor, ethernet, 1 external hard drive and a 7 port high speed USB 3.0 hub. Great docking station. Minimal, does its job well and is backed by excellent manufacturer support. I have two monitors (1920 x 1200 and 1920 x 1080) connected to either an old Asus laptop or a newer Dell 7710, both with Windows 10. 4k capability, but I liked the form factor of this model better than others offers.
