Great docking station. Minimal, does its job well and is backed by excellent manufacturer support. I have two monitors (1920 x 1200 and 1920 x 1080) connected to either an old Asus laptop or a newer Dell 7710, both with Windows 10. 4k capability, but I liked the form factor of this model better than others offers. Audio is routed to external speakers from an HDMI-connected display. Ethernet and a Logitech wireless receiver are also connected (see below). After installing the DisplayLink drivers and a bit of Windows display control setup, installing the dock really is as simple as plugging in the USB cable from whatever device you're connecting to your laptop. The compact aluminum framed box looks sleek and functional, especially when compared to some of the black tower models. Not very heavy, but stable - even if many cables protrude from the back, the Plugable Box does not come off the table. However, some cables are best for stability and security. I use several Logitech "Unifying" wireless devices and have encountered a known interference issue with USB 3.0 and wireless devices. This isn't Plugable's fault, just an unfortunate side effect of USB 3.0 technology. I have experienced this with other devices as well. As another reviewer suggested, I increased the distance between the Logitech receiver and the pluggable port with a 3-foot USB extension cable (3-foot Monoprice 28/24AWG Male to Female USB 2.0 Extension Cable (Gold Plated) ( 105432)) increased. This fixed the interference issues. Plugable Support is fantastic, friendly and responsive. On the first device I bought from a reseller, I noticed small colored rectangular artifacts on the displays. I contacted Plugable Support and they sent me a replacement in record time that fixed the issue. Overall this is a great solution that works as advertised.
