First I use Lenovo Yoga 720 - very fancy; I wouldn't buy again because not everything works with it! Plugable is a good docking company but the specs were unclear so I searched 3 docks to find one that worked - the most expensive of course! I wanted to expand my laptop to two additional monitors: 1) standard 1920x1080 and 2) ultrawide 2560x1080. The UD-3900 and UD-5900 plug-in won't do this, and it wasn't clear from the datasheet that it wasn't. (Note: Weird that the $20 uGreen USB-C dock supports ultra-wide, not two additional monitors!). Finally bought a triple display pluggable and it seems to be working as I expected. Plugable is very good quality, well built, average cost and the tech support is very helpful IF you catch their attention: I was trying to connect for help when I plugged in the UD-5900 and the only help is email?!?! Don't they have chat or free call? It's 2019 now, I don't want to wait for an email tomorrow to connect what I need/want now. Surprising for me.
