I used to have a hand blender/blender but didn't use it much so it was sent to a flea market. When I decided to buy a new one, I wasn't sure what features I really needed as I assumed I wouldn't be using it that often. I was wrong. This versatile machine comes with a variety of attachments to suit the situation (I bought this to use as a puree blender but I use a chopper more often). It's durable, doesn't make gravy and broth a problem, and is easy to clean up. I didn't think I'd need all the speeds available, but I think it's nice to have power available when I want it and to be able to slow it down to avoid splashing. And all for such a low price. I'm glad I jumped in and bought this set - it was great value for money - especially considering how much use I get from it.
