I used this on a 2015 Macbook Pro 13.3" and it works great. Make sure the adapter is properly seated in the NV.Me SSD slot of the Macbooks as it is very tight.Then you can swap the NV.Me SSD.I used it with a 1TB Sandisk NV.Me SSD bought from another retail seller.Before you start swapping, you need to create a USB flash drive with any macOS boot disk.The USB flash will be used to boot the new SSD, erase/format (with DiskUtil) and reinstall macOS on the new SSD (macOS new to install).
