Review on ๐Ÿฆท Optimize Your Oral Care with Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart 9500 Rechargeable Electric Power Toothbrush - Black, HX9924/11 by Glen Braudrick

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Compared to the previous model. Is it worth upgrading?

I am comparing this to a Philips Sonicare Diamond Clean rechargeable toothbrush with deep cleaning mode and Adaptive Clean brush head, black, an older model that I have used for the last two years (pink - new, black - previous model). If you haven't tried a sonic toothbrush yet, you'll be amazed at how clean your teeth will be. Using a sonic brush rivals any cleaning I've ever done in a dental office. I will never return. That being said, most sonic brushes cause sticker shock. My previous Sonicare Diamond Clean was $139, which seemed obscene until I tried it. This new brush costs over $100 more. Is it worth? no Probably no. If you already own a Diamond Clean brush, I don't think the upgrade here is worth the price increase. This brush is a little smoother - if that's how you can describe the pulsating sonic effect - but not too noticeable. You get an extra brush head, a tongue brush combined with a new tongue cleaning mode, and the brush can automatically detect the type of brush head you are using and use the appropriate brush mode. Oh, and you can track your brushing on the app. Cool thing, sure, but a cool thing over $100? Not for me. I really love this line which is why I gave it 4 stars and if you want the extra features this brush offers you won't be disappointed. I love mine, but if you don't want to spend money you can get similar results with less expensive models.
