I purchased this model when my 30 year old Dayzee hood dryer finally met its death. I use it for wet sets. I have a big head with big curlers. All fit easily under the lid. The hair dryer is much lighter than my old model and the color is nice. When I turned it on, it warmed up quickly. I found the "low" setting was hot enough. This is a good unit. The hose between the hood and the block is a bit short. It doesn't seem to be selling as well as my old model; I wonder if he will live to 30?
