Generally speaking, I trust the Craftsman brand name, but there have been a number of changes over the years as Sears spins this brand name off. This chest tool box is really good quality and meets my expectations for a quality chest style box. I have an older version of the same box and this one is slightly better than the previous one. The finish is better and the drawer slides are smooth and high quality. My older box probably needs some lubrication on the slides since it is more than 10 years old. I'm really happy with this box.
