Works but looks bad

This pipe insulation works as it should, but wish it was packaged and shipped differently. It is wrapped and packaged so tightly that it compresses and deforms the rubber and does not change shape even after unpacking. I needed this insulation to fit neatly into the recess. It fills some, but other places where it has been wrapped do not fill the space as they are being compressed.
