Bought this to help my pup not jump in the front seat as soon as I close the door. As you can see. Judging by the photos, there is a nearly 6 inch gap on either side of the mesh, making it almost useless to keep my pups in check. I guess in a normal sized car or small SUV the seat pitch isn't an issue like in my case. This product went all out in my truck (Silverado). I have a tissue and a jar of sanitizer in it, but it's full. I'll use it until it breaks, which honestly looks like it could happen at any moment. I just hope it doesn't hit me. Despite the small size, it was easy to install and I don't feel like the hooks come loose on their own. I think it would work great on something smaller but it's definitely not made for what I ride.
