Review on Transcend Solid State Drive TS120GSSD220S by Dany Meadows

Transcend the game with SSD from the very beginning! I work as a home computer repair/upgrade technician and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and speed of the Transcend SSDs. I've replaced 5 or 6 old laptop and desktop hard drives with these SSDs in the last 18 months. The reliability rating rivals Samsung for a fraction of the price. Speed tests typically show 550MB/s read and 400+ MB/s write. Most laptop drives struggle to read and write data at speeds over 100MB/s. This helps to shorten download times and speed up program starts. I've replaced these drives on everything from the budget AMD E3 processor to the Intel Core i7. Obviously, the better the processor, the faster the system will run. To date I have had no problems or failures with these drives. I highly recommend this product!
