Bad design. They fit loosely in the socket (which obviously isn't a great design but is part of the car so I'll stick with it) and are too heavy so they don't do the right job very well. Also, the heatsink is grounded on the back (as it should be) and has very little clearance to the 12V pin. I blew two fuses because the loose fit allowed the heatsink to short out the socket pin.
