Review on πŸ§₯ Men's Winter Puffer Jacket with Hood, Waterproof & Windproof, Warm Coat with Recycled Insulation - Little Donkey Andy by Josh Allred

Revainrating 5 out of 5

True to size, better material than others

So my hardest part is finding jackets that aren't horrible quality, uncomfortable size, overpriced or frayed/loose threads. I've bought and returned so many of them it was too annoying to even try. Walmart had a Swiss(?) brand that was good but too light and didn't have a hood. I bought this on a whim fully expecting to return it but to my surprise it grew on me. The "updated" version of Navy Heather Blue has such a beautiful tone and was very comfortable and warm. Fits as expected and all seams were nice and tight with no loose threads. I expect to pay a bit more for it than the $28 packable Walmart jacket because it's "heavier" and perfect for winter. Waterproofing and additional "poofing" really help. It also has elastic at the bottom so there isn't that "dress effect" where the edge of the waist just shows up on some other jackets. It should be borne in mind that this is not exactly a "thin" jacket. Because of her fullness, she doesn't really look slim if you like this type of outerwear. It looks a bit fluffy in the tummy area and then the elastic at the waist hugs you and in certain positions you get the look of a big belly. But that's the nature of these heavier version jackets. Thin lightweights are too light and feel like a plastic bag. It looks like a real jacket.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky
