If you're buying this as your main tripod you're making a mistake. It's flimsy, cheap, flimsy, and on a GoPro it doesn't screw all the way in and I had to insert a spacer to hold it in place. That's right, I gave it 5 stars and started with that; that doesn't sound like a 5 star rating. That's the problem. I really like small portable tripods. I have previously bought one that folds up very little. So much so that I could put it in my pocket and it was perfect for my GoPro. However, I had two of these and both legs broke when the tripod fell over. As much as I liked the smaller size, it was too thin. I needed a tiny tripod to hold my GoPro on it. Strong enough, very cheap, this tripod fits the bill. I wouldn't use it as a main tripod and I won't. My GoPro fell over because of the wind. But at least it didn't break, neither the GoPro nor the tripod, so that's enough for me. As a tiny spare tripod, this is a good buy. For everything else probably not.
