Re-aired my 1997 Chevy Tahoe 5.7. I bought this truck used in 2012 but the air didn't work. After several years of suffering, I decided to tackle the restoration of the air conditioning. Learned some basic cooling principles and watched a bunch of YouTube videos. I replaced the condenser, gas pipe, battery and compressor. Evacuated, then charged the system. voila! icy air. That was June 2017. I like to report automotive components over time, which is the best test of a part's reliability and successful installation. The device is a bit noisy. I do not care.
