I would give this unit 5 stars except I could only get it to work when installed at the bottom of my outlet. At first I tried to mount it from the side and it fell out immediately. Maybe it's because I have an old type of socket with a screw in the middle between two sockets. Hangs well and seems secure enough. I first tried coiling the cord by putting the plug in the washing machine and then "uncoiling" it, but that didn't get the electrical plug where I needed it. I ended up starting with the electrical plug where I wanted and then "wrapping" it (starting with the outermost "ring") and finally plugging it into the washing machine. Also note that you can/should wrap the cord 2 times in each "ring" - if you only put 1 wrap in each ring you will end up with a lot of extra cord. It is recommended, especially if you are familiar with the fact that it is installed from below.
