Review on ๐Ÿ’ค Intex Comfort Plush Elevated Dura-Beam Queen Airbed with Built-In Electric Pump - 22" Bed Height by Dora Luna

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great air mattress but you have to read the instructions completely.

I was hesitant to buy this product because of many reviews. He was either loved or hated. Many claimed there was an air leak during the night. But I liked the built-in pump and the height off the ground, which is important for an elderly couple. We slept on it for two nights, so we don't have a long-term report. But as a family air mattress engineer I found it compact and love the included storage bag for travel or storage. The pump filled the mattress quickly and adjusted inflation easily. I watered first and then let it rest. Then, when it was stretched out and all its chambers filled, I pumped it up into a firm mattress, which we love for the back. The first night we found the air leak became more like a water bed. Not good. But it was my fault, not the product. I have not read the instructions completely. The mattress and pump have a handle that changes the direction of the pump. One way to inflate and another way to evacuate all the air so it's completely flat for easy folding and storing in the bag provided. If this knob is not all the way to one side or the other, air leakage may occur. But when turned firmly to the right (clockwise) to fill, we found on the second night that the mattress did not leak at all and stayed fully inflated until I evacuated the air to store. A standard queen-size fitted sheet fits perfectly. When fully inflated, one sleeper would not wake the other when getting out of bed to use the bathroom at night. Better than many standard beds. With additional use I could very well raise the rating to 5 stars if it continues to work as it seemed for the two nights we've used it.

Cons
  • infinitely slow
