Review on 🔧 Enhanced APDTY 54132-SDA-A81 Gear Shift Button Knob & Spring Kit by David Everett

This part was just what I needed. I received it within a day with prime shipping. The old shift knob was completely worn out. I figured I would have to take it to a shop or dealer to have it fixed. After watching the APDTY video I probably saved $100-$150 fixing it myself. Took me about 15 minutes. The biggest problem I had was removing the bottom plastic piece from the shift knob. The video shows it comes off fairly easily, but for some reason mine got stuck. I would advise you to clean very carefully the part where all the broken parts are located. I had so many little pieces of plastic I can't believe the switch is still working. I have to say it was poor Honda design. I'm not sure if all that lithium grease they put in there isn't the cause of the plastic switch breaking. These parts should have been made from a medal, even aluminum would have been better than plastic, but after 14 years and 170,000 miles I think I can live with that. At least it's new again now and works great! Thank you APT! 5 STARS PLUS!
