I don't know if mine is defective or the video quality looks grainy and fuzzy most of the time. I want to love this camera for everything it can do (even bought a separate wired remote) but I can't get over the blurry grainy image. It's like it has a white balance that's too high, very little color compared to my other three Echomaster cameras. I use it as a front mount. When I look into the lens I see what looks like a scratch but inside the lens. I don't know if it's supposed to be there for some sort of filtering - who knows, but I'll live with that until I buy another brand.
