Well this table in the pictures made me think it would be perfect next to the bed as my partner is starting cancer treatment. We have a table on his side of the bed but you have to bend over the bed to get there. In theory, this table was a perfect match for the existing white table we already have. Not sure, but definitely not white. Further instructions are absolutely terrible. I collect a lot of stuff, and after looking through this manual for less than a minute, I put everything back in the box and went to bed. In fact, I looked at the instructions, wasn't happy and knew I wasn't impressed when I saw the light that was on. In the photos the light is balanced and looks like it is part of a table. Well it isn't. This is a puck lantern that you need to put batteries in and screw to the bottom of the table. Yes, it glows with blue light, but not like the photos. Well, here's the summary. This table is in the $50-$75 range in my opinion. It's made from thick laminate and is better than some of the other tables sold in big stores. The directions require you to "get involved with some things" as they cram too many steps into one image and the light is not aesthetically pleasing for most.
