As far as I know, buying the device first and then charging another $177 for an extension sleeve to fit the swollen foot is nothing more than a scam. I have swelling in my left leg which is causing it to swell. The device is intended for people with normal feet and not for people with health problems that cause swelling. Nothing in the product review indicated that this was only for people who don't have an edema problem. So if you have swelling issues, stay away from this product or be prepared to pay extra to ensure a fit.
